We have quality brood stock! Throughout the years we have selected mares for foaling ease, fertility, and conformation. Our mares have great temperaments, are eager workers, and have conformation for the plow or the show ring, which get passed down to their foals.
We have a selection of broke mares
for sale. Please visit our For Sale page to see what is currently available.
These mares work every day at the Historic Prophetstown's 1920s farm. In addition to farming duties, they also provide horse drawn transportation in surrounding towns.
Informative
hands on workshops for beginners,
avid horsemen, and youth – in
collaboration with Purdue
University’s Horse Extension.
"Purdue Extension is excited to
offer these educational horse
clinics in conjunction with Historic
Prophetstown. These hands-on
experiences combined with
informative educational lectures and
discussions will provide learning to
the horse industry that neither of
these organizations can completely
provide on our own. By
combining the resources of these two
horse educational resources we hope
to support and encourage better
horse breeding and management in the
draft horse industry and the horse
industry broadly."
